How to care for your
Wool Products
To ensure you enjoy your favorite product for a long time, here are some tips and tricks how to make sure they have a long life

Wool Wash Cycle
Only wool or hand wash cycle in the machine (max. 30°C) or hand wash manually.

Wool detergent
Only use special wool detergent. Never use fabric softener!

Do not tumble dry
It is best to dry the garment flat in the air.

Do not wring
It’s best to press the wet items by rolling them in a towel.

Dry flat
Lay damp laundry flat on a drying rack, and if necessary, place a towel underneath to prevent sagging.

Iron on a low temperature
If necessary, your wool product can be ironed on a low temperature with plenty of steam.
Air Out
Air out your favorite piece regularly outside, as wool regenerates well in the fresh air after wearing. Merino wool textiles generally need to be washed less often, as the fibers absorb very little dirt and odors.
Pilling
During the production of wool, shorter fibers sometimes mix in with longer ones. Over time, these shorter pieces can rise to the surface and form small pills - called pilling. You can gently remove them with a regular fabric shaver or a fine pair of scissors.

Don’ts
Wool doesn't like strong friction as it can cause felting. Also avoid large temperature differences in the water when hand washing. Knitted wool products should always be stored lying flat and in the dark, not hanging. Make sure the wool lies loosely and isn't compressed too much.
